OVH VPS SSD 1 REVIEW

Hello all! Today we will make our first review of hosting providers. We have done some test on OVH VPS SSD 1 and we will make a quick review of it. Just a note, that this VPS is unmanaged so no support will be provided outside hardware and network problems. Please keep this in mind if you place an order with OVH. Ok, we are ready to go so let’s do some tests.

  • OpenStack KVM
  • 1 vCore(s)
  • 2.4 GHz
  • 2 GB RAM
  • 20 GB SSD
  • Local RAID

Conclusion

OVH is well known, and for a long time now established company. While there is no support at all, at least we did not have any problem with OVH VPS for 45 days. As you can see the CPU model is hidden, so you will not know what you are getting when you order VPS here regarding a CPY model. In our personal opinion, we got really slow SSD disk speed compared to the other companies classic HDD in RAID configuration. That is shown in the DD test which is always around 100 MB/s. Other than that it is good VPS for such price of a cup of coffee or $3.5 a month.
